Tom is my boyfriend. We have been together for more than two years. And the anniversary of our meeting day will come in half a month. However, I still have no idea of what to give to Tom.

Last night, I was lying on my bed thinking about the anniversary gift for Tom when Jan called me. We talked for a while about our life these days. Then, we came to the topic of what gifts were for our boyfriends when the special days came. Jan said she gave Robert (Jan's Boyfriend) the classical novel Gone with the Wind, as they met each other three years ago when they reached out for the same novel Gone with the Wind on the bookshelf in the library. She suggested I give Tom something that could remind us of our first time meeting each other.
Jan's words inspired me. Tom and I first met each other on a morning. Both of us rushed in a hurry to attend our class on the corridor. We were so haste that we ran into each other. What is worse, I stepped on his eyeglasses as they dropped onto the ground in this accident. Tom's eyeglasses were useless then and I was quite sorry for that. After our classes, I found Tom and tried to do something for his broken glasses.
That was the first time I met Tom. We later became friends and then lovers. I always think that it is thanks to his prescription glasses that we met each other and fell in love with each other.
